In Winter the idea of curling up in a warm bed with a good book becomes irresistible. Despite inroads by e-books, most people prefer to relax with a printed book. E-books might be convenient, but there is something comforting about a paperback that can't be replicated. Christmas figures from Waterstones suggest that e-books might have reached their height with printed books outpacing e-books.
